It comes standard with premium features such as massaging front seats, heated second-row seats, an air purifier, wireless smartphone charging, a motion-activated power liftgate, and a 17-speaker Bose stereo system. The Sensory trim is the model we'd suggest. Unfortunately, the Infiniti lacks the upper-class swagger of those competitors and instead comes across merely as a really nice Nissan. At the very least, the QX60 is equipped with the same niceties as key rivals such as the BMW X5, the Lincoln Aviator, and the Mercedes-Benz GLE-class. Dynamically, the QX60 is a softie-as long as you avoid the temptation of optional 20-inch wheels-and we figure most buyers in this class won't mind the Infiniti's lack of cornering attitude, but it sure makes us yearn for the sports sedans that marked the brand's peak era. The greasy bits that underpin the two SUVs are essentially identical, right down to the 295-hp V-6 engine and nine-speed automatic transmission that are standard on every model. But its roots as a rebodied Nissan Pathfinder cannot be ignored and cast the QX60 in a downmarket light. In some ways, the QX60 is faithful to the brand's original formula of combining a striking design with a posh cabin at a high-value price point. Once upon a time, Infiniti was at the forefront of the Japanese luxury sedan game, but more recently the company has turned its attention to premium SUVs-for instance, the 2023 QX60.
